Man Of Steel #4 (November 1986)

A few more things are revealed this issue, particularly Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor. Gone is the hatred caused by a childhood experiment gone wrong (I never really believed that), but caused by being publicly embarrassed and arrested. Instead of being an evil scientist, he's the most evil being the 80's could produce. A businessman. He still has hair, or some of it. Next issue we will see less of it. Also explored is the fact the Superman's hair grows here, instead of the cockeyed explanation why he doesn't need to shave or cut his hair.
"Lex Luthor Strikes!"
"Enemy Mine..."
Smallville memorabilia.
To the bat-room... (Sorry)
This Superman has to shave because his hair actually grows.
To the roof...
Mr. L. himself, with hair no less.
Lois doesn't take any bull.
To the rescue...
How could it be anyone else?
Just in time...
And now...

You can't buy a man of steel.

You can see the burn.

No words could do this justice.

The confrontation...

And a nemesis is born.
